Annwfn (sometimes spelled Annwn) is the Otherworld in Welsh mythology. It's often depicted as a realm of abundance, beauty, and eternal youth. It's ruled by a king and inhabited by supernatural beings. It's a place of magic and wonder. Unlike Hell in some mythologies, Annwfn is not necessarily a place of punishment. It may be difficult to reach by mortals. It is the source of many treasures and mysteries. 🌳
