An "ant bear" is an informal name for the aardvark, a nocturnal mammal native to Africa. Aardvarks are known for their long snouts, powerful claws, and fondness for ants and termites. Think of them as nature's vacuum cleaners for insect colonies. They use their claws to dig into termite mounds, then their long, sticky tongues to slurp up the insects. Unlike bears, ant bears are solitary creatures. They are also quite shy and elusive, making them difficult to spot in the wild. It's kinda like an anteater but more muscular and African.
