The "barycenter" is the centre of mass between two or more bodies, usually celestial ones orbiting each other. Unlike the centre of mass, which refers to a single object, the barycenter considers the combined mass of multiple objects. Think of the Earth and the Moon: they both orbit a point that isn't quite at the Earth's centre, but slightly offset – that's their barycenter. This point is where they effectively 'balance' each other in space. This concept is key in astronomy for understanding orbital mechanics.
