The blastocoele (also blastocoel or blastocele) is a fluid-filled cavity inside a blastula. 💧 A blastula is an early-stage embryo formed during animal development. Think of the blastocoele as a water balloon inside the blastula. 🎈 It's created as cells divide and migrate outward, forming a hollow sphere. The blastocoele provides space for cell movement and differentiation. It's a temporary structure that plays a crucial role in early development. It is eventually replaced by other structures as the embryo develops further.
