Cacodylic describes substances containing arsenic and having a foul odor. Think of it as the skunk of the chemistry world π§ͺ, but way more toxic. Cacodylic acid, for instance, was used as a herbicide. Unlike pleasant fragrances, cacodylic smells garlicky and can be dangerous. It's definitely not something you'd want to encounter in your daily life. Imagine a chemical weapon, but for plants. It's a substance you'd probably only hear about in a science lab or environmental discussion.
