Definition
"Ceratopsia" is a group (or clade) of herbivorous dinosaurs characterized by their beaks, frills, and often horns. ๐ฆ They thrived during the Late Cretaceous period. Famous examples include Triceratops and Styracosaurus. Imagine them as the rhinos of the dinosaur world, but with much fancier headgear. They represent one of the most successful groups of dinosaurs. Their elaborate frills and horns are truly spectacular.
