Definition
A cigarette is a small cylinder of finely cut tobacco rolled in thin paper for smoking. It is lit at one end and smoked by drawing air through the opposite end. Cigarettes are much smaller and quicker to smoke than cigars. They often contain a filter at one end to reduce the amount of tar and nicotine inhaled. Think of it like a quick caffeine fix, but with tobacco. Cigarettes are unfortunately addictive and pose significant health risks.
