Corixidae, commonly known as water boatmen, are a family of aquatic insects found in ponds and slow-moving waters. They swim upside down, using their long, oar-like legs to propel themselves. Water boatmen feed on algae and other organic matter, playing a vital role in aquatic ecosystems. Unlike some other aquatic bugs, they're not predators of larger organisms. Think of them as the vegetarians of the underwater world, quietly munching on algae. ๐ฟ
