Definition
A dhole is a reddish-brown wild dog native to Asia, known for its cooperative hunting strategies. It's also called the Asiatic wild dog, reflecting its geographic location. Dholes live in packs and work together to take down prey much larger than themselves. Unlike domestic dogs, they have fewer teeth and a unique whistling call. They are endangered due to habitat loss and hunting. Think of them as the underdogs (pun intended) of the canid world, working together to survive!
