A 'double reverse' is a trick play in football involving two handoffs going in opposite directions before the ball carrier attempts to advance the ball. First, the quarterback hands off to a player running in one direction, then that player hands off to another running in the opposite direction. 🏈 It's a high-risk, high-reward play designed to confuse the defense and create a big play. Think of it as a complex sleight of hand. Because of the multiple handoffs, there's a high chance of a fumble or a loss of yardage if not executed perfectly.
