Definition
Ectomorphic describes a body type characterized by being slender and having a lean build. Think of a typical long-distance runner; they often have this type of body. People who are ectomorphic usually have a fast metabolism, making it harder for them to gain weight, whether muscle or fat. They tend to have long limbs, narrow shoulders, and a flat chest. They might struggle a bit when trying to bulk up at the gym. Itβs often associated with being naturally skinny, even with a high calorie intake.
