Definition
The emperor moth (*Saturnia pavonia*) is a European moth known for its striking appearance. The males have feathered antennae and orange-brown wings with prominent eyespots, while the females are larger and greyish. They are part of the Saturniidae family, known as giant silk moths, but their silk is not commercially viable. They're native to Europe and parts of Asia. They are the rockstars of the moth world.
