Definition
Endoprocta is an alternate, less common spelling for Entoprocta. They are a phylum of small, aquatic invertebrates. These animals are filter feeders, typically living attached to surfaces in marine or freshwater environments. The defining characteristic is that their anus is located *inside* the ring of feeding tentacles. They often form colonies, where each zooid is relatively independent. Think of them as miniature underwater gardens with tiny filtering organisms. ðŠī
