Definition
Fascistic is similar to "fascist" but often used to describe tendencies, behaviors, or policies that resemble fascism without fully embodying the ideology. It indicates a leaning towards authoritarianism, nationalism, or suppression of dissent. Think of it as having some of the characteristics of fascism without being full-blown fascist. Unlike fully fascist regimes, fascistic elements may be present in otherwise democratic systems. It often involves a gradual erosion of individual liberties and an increasing emphasis on state power.
