Definition
A gable end refers to the entire wall beneath a gable. It's the complete vertical surface, including the triangular gable at the top. Think of it as the whole face of the house, from the ground up to the point where the roof begins. It's what you see when facing the side of a house with a gable roof. It provides structural support and can contain windows or other architectural details. Unlike just the 'gable,' it includes the entire wall.
