Höðr, often spelled Hodr, is a Norse god known for his tragic role in the death of Baldur. Blind and somewhat isolated, he was tricked by Loki into throwing a mistletoe dart that ultimately killed Baldur. Think of Hodr as an unwitting participant in a dark prophecy. He wasn't inherently evil, but his actions set off a chain of events with devastating consequences. He's a reminder that even the most innocent can be instruments of fate.
