The manul, also known as Pallas's cat, is a small wild cat with long, dense fur. It resembles a domestic cat but has a flatter face and smaller, rounded ears. Unlike most cats, its pupils contract into small circles rather than vertical slits. Manuls are about the size of a house cat but appear stockier. They live in Central Asia, where they hunt rodents and small mammals. Imagine a grumpy-looking house cat that prefers mountains to couches.
