Definition
A mixture is a combination of two or more substances that are physically combined but not chemically bonded. Think of a bowl of trail mix π₯; you can still see and separate the nuts, seeds, and chocolate. Mixtures can be homogeneous, like saltwater where you can't see the salt, or heterogeneous, like the trail mix. Unlike a chemical compound, the substances in a mixture retain their individual properties. Itβs all about physical blending, not chemical changes.
