A Norn is one of the fates in Norse mythology, often depicted as weaving the threads of destiny for gods and humans alike ๐งต. There are usually considered to be three main Norns who reside at the Well of Urd at the base of Yggdrasil, the world tree. They determine the past, present, and future. Think of them as the ultimate arbiters of fate. They represent the inescapable nature of destiny and the interconnectedness of all things.
