A "nosey-parker" is an informal and often derogatory term for someone who is excessively curious about other people's private affairs and tends to pry into their business. They are often perceived as intrusive and annoying because of their unwarranted interest. Think of them as the overly curious neighbor who always needs to know what's going on. Unlike someone who's genuinely concerned, a nosey-parker is driven by gossip and meddling.
