Definition
Oligarchical describes a government or organization controlled by a small group of powerful people. It's not a democracy, where everyone gets a say, but a system where a select few make the decisions. Think of it like the popular kids in high school running the student council, but with real power. It often leads to unequal distribution of resources and opportunities. Unlike a monarchy with one ruler or an anarchy with no rules, an oligarchy is a clique in charge. It can sometimes be efficient but is rarely fair.
