José Clemente Orozco (1883-1949) was a prominent Mexican muralist. Along with Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros, he established Mexican muralism. Orozco's work is characterized by its bold, dramatic style and its focus on social and political themes. His murals often depicted the struggles of the working class and the injustices of oppression. He was like the Banksy 🎨 of his time, using art to make powerful statements about society.
