An 'Otterhound' is a rare breed of dog known for its shaggy coat, webbed feet, and keen sense of smell. Think of them as the detectives of the dog world – excellent at tracking and following scents. They were originally bred in England to hunt otters. Unlike many modern breeds, Otterhounds are relatively unstandardized and retain a rustic appearance. They are friendly and enthusiastic dogs, though their loud baying can be a bit much. They're basically scruffy, scent-obsessed water dogs.
