A partial eclipse occurs when the Moon only blocks part of the Sun's disk. 🤏 It appears as if a bite has been taken out of the sun. It's a more common type of solar eclipse than a total eclipse. Even though it's less dramatic, it's still important to use eye protection. It's a stage that always happens before and after a total or annular eclipse. ☀️🌑 During a partial eclipse, it never gets completely dark.
