Pigeon-breasted, also known as pectus carinatum, describes a chest deformity where the breastbone protrudes outward. It resembles the puffed-out chest of a pigeon. This condition is often noticeable in childhood or adolescence. It's a physical characteristic, not a personality trait. While typically harmless, severe cases might affect breathing or physical activity. It can sometimes be corrected with bracing or surgery.
