Definition
Ridley turtles are small to medium-sized sea turtles known for their unique nesting behavior, called 'arribadas.' There are two species: the olive ridley and Kemp's ridley. Think of them as the social butterflies of the sea turtle world. Unlike some solitary sea turtles, ridleys gather in huge numbers to nest. They're like the popular kids who always travel in packs. However, this makes them vulnerable to predators and habitat loss.
