The Rub' al-Khali, also known as the Empty Quarter, is one of the largest continuous sand deserts in the world, located in the Arabian Peninsula. It's an immense sea of sand dunes, harsher and more desolate than your average beach. ποΈ Imagine it as a sandy Sahara, but even bigger. It's hotter and drier than a summer in Arizona. Unlike a bustling city, it is virtually uninhabited.
