Definition
Scyliorhinidae, commonly known as cat sharks, are a family of small sharks. These sharks are generally harmless to humans. They're often found on the seabed, like chilled-out couch potatoes of the ocean. Their cat-like eyes give them a unique, almost cute appearance. Cat sharks are nocturnal hunters, active at night. They're like the ninjas of the shark world, stealthy and efficient. These sharks are a testament to the diversity in the ocean.
