Definition
A 'shell game' is a con trick where a pea or ball is hidden under one of several identical shells, and the audience bets on which shell it's under. It is designed to confuse and deceive the audience. The dealer manipulates the shells so quickly that it becomes nearly impossible to follow the pea. Itβs like a magicianβs trick but designed to take your money. The reality is: the game is rigged.
