Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) is a Pakistani Sunni Muslim militant organization. It was formed to defend the rights of Sunni Muslims in Pakistan and counter perceived discrimination by the Shia Muslim minority. SSP has been involved in sectarian violence and has been designated as a terrorist organization by several countries. They are an example of how religious differences can be exploited to fuel conflict.
