Being stolid means showing little or no emotion; you are calm, dependable, and generally unemotional. It's like being a rock πͺ¨ β solid and unchanging, no matter what happens around you. A stolid person doesn't react much, even in stressful situations. Think of a poker player with a 'poker face,' never revealing their hand through facial expressions. It's different from being indifferent or uncaring; it is about suppressing outward displays of emotion. This composure can be seen as strength, but also as aloofness.
