Tadalafil is a medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It works by increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body. It belongs to a class of drugs called PDE5 inhibitors. Unlike some other ED medications, tadalafil can have a longer-lasting effect, up to 36 hours. It's often sold under the brand name Cialis. It should only be taken under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
