Definition
A telegraph form was a paper slip used to send messages via telegraph, a very old form of electronic communication. Think of it as a really, really old text message ✉️, but on paper. You would write your message on the form, hand it to a telegraph operator, and they would transmit it using Morse code. It was the fastest way to send information over long distances before telephones became common. Imagine needing to tell someone something urgent across the country in the 1800s; you'd use a telegraph form. These forms aren't used anymore because technology has moved on, but they were vital in their day.
