Definition
A tempter is someone or something that entices or lures you to do something wrong, unwise, or forbidden. Think of the devil on your shoulder, whispering tempting suggestions. Unlike a persuader, a tempter appeals to your desires and weaknesses. They exploit vulnerabilities and offer immediate gratification, often at the expense of long-term consequences. Tempters can be people, situations, or even your own inner thoughts. Resisting them requires willpower and a clear understanding of your values.
