Something unobservable can't be seen or detected, either because it's too small, too far away, or hidden by something else. It's like trying to spot a single grain of sand on a massive beach ποΈ. Think of dark matter in space; scientists know it's there because of its effects, but they can't directly see it. Unlike things right in front of you, unobservable things require special tools or inferences to understand. It differs from 'invisible' because it might be detectable indirectly. It's a step beyond just being hard to notice.
