A "videodisc" (or "videodisk") is a flat, round disc used to store video and audio. Essentially the same as 'videodisk,' it's a historical format preceding DVDs. 💿 These were larger than CDs and required a special player to read the contents. Think of it as a larger, more primitive DVD. Videodiscs never gained widespread popularity compared to VHS tapes or later DVD formats. They offered better picture quality than VHS, but they were not as convenient.
