Definition
A 'cigaret' is simply an older or less common spelling variation of 'cigarette.' Both terms refer to the same thing: a small cylinder of finely cut tobacco rolled in thin paper for smoking. Think of it as an archaic version of 'email' vs 'e-mail'. While 'cigarette' is the preferred spelling today, 'cigaret' can still be found in older texts or historical contexts. It is essentially a synonym, albeit a slightly outdated one.
