The small intestine is a long, winding tube in your digestive system where most nutrients from your food are absorbed. Think of it as a super-efficient absorption machine. It's located between your stomach and large intestine. It's much longer than you'd expect, about 20 feet in length! The small intestine breaks down food and passes the goodies into your bloodstream. Without it, you wouldn't get the energy you need. 💪 It's made up of three parts: the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.
