Definition
An 'endomorph' is a body type characterized by a rounder physique and a tendency to gain weight easily. They often have a higher proportion of fat mass and less muscle definition compared to other body types. Think of it as one of the three main body types, alongside ectomorphs (lean and slender) and mesomorphs (muscular). Endomorphs typically have a slower metabolism, making it more challenging to lose weight. While they might struggle with weight management, they often excel in strength-based activities. The term describes a general body composition and doesn't dictate overall health or fitness.
